Each custom alfajor begins with our cherished Argentine family recipe: exquisitely delicate cornstarch cookies, generously filled with dulce de leche and finished with finely shredded coconut. Your logo, initials, crest or monogram can then be embossed directly into the cookie for a presentation that feels personal, tactile and memorable.
Gennaro’s Alfajores de Maicena won Gold for Best Alfajor de Maicena at the Campeonato Mundial del Alfajor in Buenos Aires in 2022 and 2023. In 2026, TasteAtlas also featured Gennaro’s among the 3 Best Biscuits in Canada and 9 Best Biscuits in North America.
Recommended Custom Program
Because every custom program requires dedicated artwork preparation, embossing tooling and production setup, we strongly recommend quantities approaching 1,000 alfajores to achieve the best overall value and make the custom setup most cost-effective.
Our production is organized in 36-count trays. The closest full-tray quantity to 1,000 is 28 trays = 1,008 custom alfajores. This is our recommended planning quantity for corporate programs, branded events and larger celebrations. Smaller custom programs may be possible, beginning at 144 alfajores, but the setup and tooling costs are distributed across fewer pieces, resulting in a higher effective unit cost.
How the process works: contact us before ordering so we can review your artwork, quantity, packaging requirements and required delivery date. Once the creative direction is approved, we prepare the appropriate embossing tooling and production plan.
Please allow a minimum of 8 weeks for custom programs. More complex packaging, larger volumes or specialized requirements may require additional planning time. Custom orders are prepaid in advance and scheduled into production once specifications are confirmed.
Custom Labels
Custom labels are available for individually foil-wrapped alfajores. The $250 Custom Label Setup covers design and prepress for one approved label design. Printed 1.5-inch round labels are ordered separately in a minimum batch of 250 labels for $250 ($1 per printed label). Label application is a separate service charged at $144 to apply up to 144 labels to the standard 144-alfajor minimum order.
